Rowenta Silent Force
Working with client, Groupe SEB, I was pretty excited to have been asked to produce a website for Rowenta, one of their flagship brands, a French company intending to launch their upscale Floor Care to the Canadian market.
Built around a fully responsive frame, the website features custom animations that unfold dynamically in a high contrast, contemporary format. We implemented a CMS backend to enable the client to make changes without having to return to us for every little modification.
Mindful that the site was also to be built in French, all text was developed separately from images so that Google could parse all words for effective SEO. We programmed the site to instantaneously change to French with the push of a button, eliminating the need to remake images that would normally have been embedded with English text.
Building all elements from the ground up allowed us to optimize a fully interactive site and speed load times by avoiding programming bugs customarily associated with pre-packaged plugins. What I love about the Rowenta site is it’s beautiful and engaging presentation, no matter the viewing device.
